Allison received her M.A. and B.S.from Northwestern University. She trained, interned, taught and did research which integrated the fields of Human Communications and Expressive Arts Therapy drawing from advanced studies in psychology, communications, and the arts. She trained in Analytical Psychology and Somatic Therapy with Leland H. Roloff, Phd., and interned at Park Forest Hospital, IL.
She takes a holistic approach to emotional well being and authentic communication within families.

Solution Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT),
Expressive Arts Therapy,
Life Skills Coaching.
She served as a consultant to 33 CT school districts beginning in 1978 teaching life skills and problem solving through creative activity. This innovation’s success was recognized by numerous grant awards from the CT State Dept. of Education, the CT Comm. on the Arts, as well as corporate, private, and family foundations over a 20+ year period.
Allison is still married to her high school sweetheart and has a grown adopted son. Her house is periwinkle.
